Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Demonstrated proficiency with linear accelerators and radiation oncology equipment Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach Ability to interpret and implement physician treatment plans accurately Minimum of one year of recent experience as a
Radiation Therapist Schedule:
Full-time hours, Monday through
Friday Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients according to physician protocols Maintain precise documentation of treatment sessions and patient responses Operate, calibrate, and perform quality assurance on therapy equipment Monitor patients during treatments, providing support and responding to clinical concerns Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal care Maintain strict adherence to safety standards for patients and staff Educate patients and families regarding procedures and aftercare
