Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Step into a critical role supporting patient care in radiation oncology. This contract opportunity calls for an experienced professional with advanced skills in Radiation Therapy, working directly with Varian Truebeam/Aria systems to deliver high-quality treatments and compassionate care.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (5x8-hour shifts)
Key Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years as a Radiation Therapist, with experience operating Varian Truebeam/Aria systems Current, active Virginia state license to practice as a Radiation Therapist (must be in hand before start) Ability to begin assignment as soon as possible Strong communication skills and a dedication to collaborative, patient-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer daily radiation treatments to patients following physician-prescribed plans Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care and safety throughout the treatment process Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot Varian Truebeam/Aria linear accelerators and software Ensure thorough documentation of each session and uphold compliance standards Provide clear instructions and support to patients and families regarding procedures and expected outcomes
Interview Process:
First round via Teams (virtual) Second round in person, with all travel expenses and stay covered during this stage

This contract includes an attractive weekly package of $2,300 gross, hourly earnings of $31.50, housing allotment of $640.00, $400.00 for meals and incidental expenses, and a $300 reimbursement for miscellaneous costs—all designed to support you during your assignment.
