Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Step into a specialized role as a Radiation Therapy professional, working alongside a dedicated healthcare team focused on delivering exceptional patient care. This position calls for a highly skilled Radiation Therapist ready to share their expertise in an advanced clinical setting with immediate needs for patient services.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (five 8-hour shifts weekly)
Key Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist Current and valid Virginia state license (VA license required before start) Experience operating Varian TrueBeam/Aria systems preferred Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ability to thrive in a patient-centered environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer radiation treatments to oncology patients according to physician's prescription Operate highly specialized Varian TrueBeam/Aria equipment for safe, efficient patient care Collect, record, and evaluate patient data before, during, and after treatments Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal treatment plans and maintain patient-centered care Uphold rigorous safety and compliance standards in all aspects of radiation therapy delivery
