Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Advance your healthcare career by supporting patients in a dynamic radiation therapy department known for its commitment to quality and patient-centered care. As a valued therapy professional, you'll join a dedicated team utilizing state-of-the-art Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment, providing essential radiation treatment for oncology patients.
Schedule & Setting:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (5x8s) Contract opportunity with an immediate start
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist Current and active Virginia license, required at time of application Proficient in the use of Varian Truebeam and Aria platforms Strong attention to patient safety, accurate dosing, and compassionate care Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit Willingness and ability to complete a two-part interview process (first round via Teams; second round in person, with travel expenses and lodging covered)
Responsibilities:
Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians Operate and maintain advanced radiation equipment Monitor patient reactions and provide informed, empathetic care Accurately document treatment sessions and adjustments in patient records Collaborate closely with the treatment planning and oncology teams Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety protocols and best practices
