Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Take your expertise in radiation therapy to the next level in a contract opportunity where advanced technology meets compassionate care. This role allows you to work with two Varian Truebeam/Aria systems, delivering top-notch treatment as part of a dedicated, collaborative team.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (5x8's)
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist Current, valid Virginia state license (must have in hand) Experience operating Varian Truebeam/Aria systems preferred Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills Flexibility to begin as soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
Administer precise radiation therapy treatments according to physician orders Operate and maintain advanced radiation equipment (including Varian Truebeam/Aria) Verify patient identification and treatment plans, ensuring the highest standards of safety Monitor patient responses and provide compassionate support during therapy Accurately document all aspects of care in compliance with protocol Collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
