Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic environment where your expertise in Radiation Therapy contributes directly to patient care. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated clinical team utilizing advanced Varian Truebeam/Aria technology. Be an integral part of supporting patients through their treatment journey while gaining valuable experience in a progressive department.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (5x8-hour shifts)
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Radiation Therapy as a Radiation Therapist Active Virginia (VA) license in hand (required) Proficiency with Varian Truebeam/Aria systems preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Team player able to adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting
Responsibilities:
Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely following physician protocols Collaborate with oncology care teams to ensure quality patient-centered care Maintain precise treatment records and documentation per departmental guidelines Consistently follow ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles and strict safety protocols Communicate clearly with patients, offering support and education throughout their treatment
