Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract A skilled professional with expertise in Radiation Therapy is needed to contribute to a high-quality oncology team utilizing advanced Varian Truebeam/Aria technology. This is a contract opportunity with a reputable healthcare provider, seeking a candidate who is ready for an immediate start.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (5x8s structure)
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist Active, valid Virginia state license (must have in hand before start) Proficiency working with Varian Truebeam/Aria systems highly preferred Strong interpersonal communication and patient care skills Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, patient-centered environment Availability to participate in a two-step interview process (virtual followed by in-person; travel and stay expenses covered for in-person interview)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments with precision and a commitment to patient safety Accurately operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment Collaborate with the clinical team to plan and monitor treatment protocols Educate and support patients and families through the treatment experience Maintain detailed documentation and ensure strict adherence to regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
