Job Description

This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated professional who excels in radiation therapy and is ready to make a positive impact on patient care.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8's)
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist Proficiency with Varian Truebeam and Aria software systems (two units in use) Active and unrestricted Virginia radiation therapy license required at time of application Availability for an ASAP start Willingness to participate in a two-stage interview process: initial round via Teams, followed by an in-person interview (all travel and accommodation expenses for the in-person interview are fully covered)
Primary Duties:
Administer precise radiation treatments following physician directives and established protocols Operate and calibrate Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment, maintaining the highest safety and quality assurance standards Engage collaboratively with oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff to optimize treatment plans Educate patients and their families on procedures, offering reassurance and support throughout the treatment process Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records
