Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role providing essential patient care in radiation therapy. This is a contract opportunity for experienced professionals ready to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic medical environment. The position utilizes advanced Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment to deliver targeted therapeutic treatments, supporting the continuum of care for cancer patients.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in radiation therapy Current and valid Virginia (VA) license (must have in hand at time of application) Strong familiarity with Varian Truebeam/Aria technology Excellent patient communication and teamwork skills Ability to start as soon as possible Commitment to best practices in safety and patient care
Responsibilities:
Accurately administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed Collaborate with oncologists, physicists, and nursing staff to optimize patient care Operate and maintain Varian Truebeam/Aria systems, ensuring quality and compliance Provide compassionate support to patients throughout their treatment process Document treatments and patient interactions according to clinical protocols
