Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity as an X-ray Technologist, performing radiographic examinations for patients across all age groups. This unique contract role calls for a skilled imaging professional eager to provide critical diagnostic support in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Schedule:
Shift varies: Typically 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
Key Qualifications:
Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Demonstrated experience in X-ray imaging with proficiency in a range of radiographic techniques Previous radiologic technologist experience working with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations is strongly preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and demonstrate sound judgment in various clinical situations
Core Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality radiographic exams on all age groups, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols Operate and maintain X-ray equipment according to guidelines and manufacturer specifications Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and privacy Accurately document patient information and imaging results within electronic medical record systems Support physicians and the clinical team with prompt and effective communication regarding imaging findings Continually participate in ongoing professional development and training
