Job Description

Position Summary:
Performs radiographic examination on all ages of patients (newborn through geriatric), contributing to the efficient operation of the department and ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Performs responsibilities of receptionist as needed.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
Two years post graduate Radiologic Experience required in a hospital setting. Knowledge of CT angiograms. Ability to work independently. Computer experience desirable.
License, Certification, Registration:
American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT). CT registered or Board eligible.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Limited or None. Please make note of the following information: Private Housing is not provided. All housing are shared units. No Pets allowed. Airfare is paid initially by the candidate and/or the agency and will be reimbursed upon the candidate's arrival here in Bethel, AK. Please let us know when this is done.
Note:
We require to receive the flight itinerary information for the candidate at least one (1) week in advance to ensure that we can provide scheduling of New Employee Orientation class attendance, Housing, etc. (Please send this information directly to ykhcrecruitment@ykhc.org) . New Employee Orientation occurs every Tuesday and Wednesday ONLY. We DO NOT pick up returning travelers.
