CT Technologist Location:

Juneau, AK $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS + $10,000 RELOCATION

We are seeking a CT Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients across the lifespan. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CT Tech looking to grow their career in Southeast Alaska.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and diagnostic imaging examinations
• Provide safe, quality patient care during imaging procedures
• Operate CT equipment and automatic injectors
• Adjust protocols based on patient age and clinical needs
• Administer contrast according to established protocols
• Understand contrast contraindications
• Assist with invasive and interventional procedures
• Perform venipuncture
• Follow sterile technique and standard precautions
• Perform daily and weekly quality control
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Participate in quality assurance activities
• Perform tele-radiology transmission
• Assist with equipment care and supply inventory
• Maintain competency in additional imaging modalities as required
• Participate in continuing education and departmental training
• Take call and be able to report to work within 20 minutes when called

Requirements:

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography
• CT certification preferred/required based on technologist level
• Clinical competency required within 3 months of hire and every 3 years
• Ability to perform diagnostic exams related to assigned modality
• Experience performing CT procedures
• Ability to work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Willingness to cross-train in additional imaging modalities

Technologist Levels:

Tech I:

ARRT in one modality

Tech II:

ARRT certified in two modalities

Tech III:

ARRT certified in three modalities

Tech IV:

ARRT certified in four modalities
