Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Advance your career as an X-ray Technologist by providing expert imaging services to patients of all ages. In this contract role, your skills are vital to supporting diagnostic procedures and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
Variable schedule with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the following week
Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification BLS certification required Demonstrated competency in performing X-ray examinations Previous experience in imaging, specifically X-ray, is highly preferred Effective communication and interpersonal skills when working with patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations
Responsibilities:
Conduct radiographic examinations following established protocols and physician orders Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process Accurately position patients and operate digital or analog X-ray equipment Maintain documentation and imaging records in compliance with facility guidelines and privacy regulations Collaborate with radiologists, other technologists, and healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes Adhere to infection control and safety procedures at all times Perform equipment checks and report malfunctions as needed
