We are seeking an experienced CT/PET Technologist with a strong background in imaging, particularly CT, to deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging for a diverse patient population. This contract opportunity allows you to work alongside skilled professionals, providing critical support to clinical teams.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT (R)(CT) Certification or equivalent required Prior experience as a CT Technologist; PET/CT experience highly preferred Current BLS certification Proficient in operating advanced imaging modalities and related equipment Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT and PET scans according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort Analyze images for quality and accuracy before submission for interpretation Document patient history and scan details accurately in electronic health records Monitor patients throughout exams, recognizing and responding to adverse reactions Maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure proper function Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to optimize workflow and patient outcomes Support compliance with all safety, regulatory, and infection control protocols Make a meaningful impact by providing exceptional imaging services in a supportive contract role.
