Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into an essential role supporting patient care through advanced imaging services. This opportunity calls for a skilled Radiology Technologist with expertise in X-ray diagnostics. By joining the medical imaging team, you will aid clinical staff in accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions, ensuring a high standard of patient care.
Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification Valid state license or registration as required Proven experience as a Radiologic or X-ray Technologist in a healthcare facility Proficient with digital imaging systems and related medical technology Strong understanding of anatomy, patient positioning, and radiation safety protocols Ability to provide compassionate care with a focus on patient comfort and confidentiality Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging under the direction of physicians and medical staff Ensure accurate patient positioning, image quality, and proper radiation safety practices Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, making adjustments as needed for specific procedures Document patient histories, procedures performed, and maintain accurate records within the system Assist with patient transfers and positioning, particularly for those with mobility challenges Adhere to established protocols, infection control, and safety guidelines at all times Support workflow efficiency within the imaging department and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
