Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise to a dynamic healthcare environment where advanced imaging services are a priority. We are seeking a skilled professional with proven experience in CT and CT/PET technology to provide exceptional patient care and deliver high-quality imaging results.
Qualifications & Experience:
ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent credentials Demonstrated proficiency in operating CT and PET/CT scanners At least one year of recent experience in imaging, specifically in CT and PET/CT modalities In-depth knowledge of imaging safety protocols and patient positioning techniques Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach to patient care Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a range of CT and PET/CT scans in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures Review and verify physician orders, patient identification, and clinical history before imaging Calibrate and operate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality Process and transmit images to radiologists for interpretation in a timely manner Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory and departmental standards Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize workflow and patient outcomes
