Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Leverage your expertise in Imaging as a skilled CT or CT/PET Technologist in a dynamic clinical environment. Your technical proficiency will make a meaningful impact by supporting accurate diagnostics and patient care. This contract position offers the opportunity to work alongside knowledgeable healthcare professionals while utilizing state-of-the-art technology.
What We're Looking For:
Valid certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Previous experience operating CT and CT/PET imaging equipment Proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols Skilled in patient positioning, safety practices, and radiation protection Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Capacity to adapt rapidly in a fast-paced healthcare setting Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT and CT/PET imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols Prepare patients for imaging studies, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain quality assurance standards Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical team members to ensure precise imaging and timely reporting Accurately document procedures, patient information, and exam results in medical records Maintain equipment hygiene and assist with troubleshooting technical issues Adhere to guidelines for patient safety, radiation control, and infection prevention
