Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Put your expertise in CT and PET imaging to work in a dynamic healthcare environment supporting patient diagnosis and care. This contract opportunity is ideal for an Imaging Technologist skilled in both CT and CT/PET modalities, ready to collaborate with a patient-centered medical team.
Qualifications:
Valid certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) Experience operating CT and PET/CT equipment in a hospital or outpatient setting Demonstrated ability to follow imaging protocols and ensure high-quality diagnostic images Current BLS certification required Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach Familiarity with radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environmentResponsibilities:
Perform CT and PET/CT imaging procedures for patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging standards Accurately position patients to obtain optimal images for diagnostic review Evaluate image quality with attention to detail, notifying radiologists of preliminary findings as appropriate Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues Document procedures, patient data, and observations in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and referring providers for coordinated patient care Adhere to infection control guidelines and uphold all privacy and safety standards This role offers the chance to make a direct impact on patient outcomes by producing high-quality diagnostic images that inform critical medical decisions.
