A Radiologic Technician or Technologist operates X Ray, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) or CT (Computed Tomography) scan equipment to take diagnostic images of a patient. Works with doctors to obtain specific images necessary for medical diagnosis.
•Mammography Technologist - PRN Dayshift Position Available•Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our patient-focused team!
Position Status:
PRN (as needed for staffing gaps, vacation coverage, call-outs, etc.)
Location:
shifts available at all 4 of our outpatient imaging centers located in Huntsville, Madison, Athens, and Decatur We are looking for dayshift coverage, between the hours of 7:00am - 6:00pm, depending on the location. Requirements:
EDUCATION
: Must have a minimum associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
: Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. Must also hold a Mammography advanced registration through
ARRT. BLS
certification required within 60 days of hire.
