Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced X-ray Technician for a short-term contract assignment. This position offers you the opportunity to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services alongside a dedicated clinical team. Bring your expertise in radiology to support patient care for a 6-8 week period.
Schedule / Hours Contract duration:
6-8 weeks Schedule details will be discussed during the interview Required Qualifications & Experience Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or equivalent Active state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist Proven experience as an Imaging - Radiology Tech or X-ray Tech in a clinical setting Strong knowledge of imaging equipment, safety protocols, and patient positioning Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to adapt quickly and work independently within a fast-paced healthcare environment Key Responsibilities Perform X-ray examinations and diagnostic imaging according to physician orders Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with facility protocols Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and addressing concerns Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information in electronic medical records Collaborate with medical staff to provide timely results and assist in patient assessment Follow infection control and radiation safety guidelines at all times Why Apply?
