Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Take your CT and PET/CT imaging expertise to a dynamic healthcare environment serving both inpatient and outpatient populations, including adults and occasional pediatric patients. This contract position provides the opportunity to work in a well-established hospital supporting a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Schedule/Hours:
Weekend rotation typically once a month (may vary per department need) Voluntary on-call opportunities Holiday shifts: one major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy
Key Qualifications:
ARRT certification required; ARRT-CT for CT technologists BLS certification required Strong CT skills: biopsy drainage, trauma, angiogram essential; stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred State license for CT (preferred) Proficiency with GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR Ability to float within the main radiology department as needed
Experience:
At least 1 year of relevant experience for travelers with strong skills, or 2 years for first-time travelers Familiarity with a 1:1 patient ratio and handling an average of 4 patients/hour
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans for diagnostic and interventional purposes Provide imaging services to diverse patient types, ensuring safety and accuracy Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and adapt to varying workload and unit needs Participate in a hospital orientation and supervised shifts to ensure smooth transition This is a unique opportunity to work in a facility recognized for advanced care services, including trauma, NICU, and stroke care.
