Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Advance your expertise in medical imaging as an MRI Technologist, providing essential diagnostic support for a highly regarded healthcare facility. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work in a cutting-edge environment serving both inpatient and outpatient populations, including adults and occasionally pediatric cases.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Required Qualifications:
Active ARRT registration; ARRT (R)-MR or
ARMRIT BLS
certification State license preferred Proficiency with MR imaging of the head/neck, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities, and MRAs Minimum one year of strong MRI Technologist experience (traveler applicants considered with required background) At least two years' experience required for first-time travelers Familiarity with Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI technology Experience using Cerner EMR systems
Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans with an average patient load of 4 per hour (approximately 40 patients per day) Manage a 1:1 patient ratio, delivering high-quality care to adult, pediatric, inpatient, and outpatient populations Collaborate with a team including two CT technologists and an assistant during each shift Float within the main radiology department as needed, adapting to various areas within the hospital Ensure proper operation and safety of imaging equipment, including use of self-purchased markers Accurately document procedures and patient information using
