Experience No Experience Required License/Certifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (RT.R.ARRT) certification in Radiography is required. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring they understand the process and are positioned correctly. Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for both patients and staff. Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians. Adjust and maintain equipment to ensure accurate and efficient performance. Follow established protocols for imaging procedures, ensuring consistent results. Monitor images during procedures to ensure clarity and accuracy. Document patient information, procedure details, and imaging results accurately in the medical records system. Ensure proper labeling and storage of images. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to review images and provide necessary technical information. Assist in determining the appropriate imaging techniques for each patient. Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including radiation safety guidelines and institutional policies.
