Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract A skilled CT Technologist is needed to contribute expertise to a dynamic imaging department for an engaging contract opportunity beginning June 22. This facility features over 490 beds, a Level II Trauma Center, and serves both inpatient and outpatient populations (primarily adults with some pediatric cases). The environment is technologically advanced, utilizing Cerner EMR and state-of-the-art GE CT equipment.
Schedule & Shift:
12-hour mids, 36 hours/week 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM, Friday through
Sunday Qualifications:
Current BLS certification (required) Registered with ARRT; CT credential required State licensure (preferred) At least 1 year of strong CT experience for travelers; first-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 2 years' experience in required skills Proficiency in trauma, biopsy drainage, angiograms, and ideally stroke perfusion Familiarity with Cerner EMR Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, averaging four scans per hour Ability to float within the radiology department as needed
Core Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans for diverse adult and occasional pediatric patients across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings Collaborate with fellow CT technologists and assistants to support high-quality, efficient patient care Operate GE CT systems safely and accurately Maintain precise documentation within Cerner EMR Participate in general department activities and adhere to protocols and safety standards Adapt to varying shifts and weekend needs per departmental requirements
