Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract A skilled CT Technologist is needed for a contract assignment with an anticipated start date of June 22. The role offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment at a large, multi-specialty facility with a 492-bed capacity, including a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center. You will join an experienced imaging team delivering care across diverse patient populations.
Schedule:
12-hour mid-shifts, 36 hours per week 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM, Friday through
Sunday Key Qualifications:
ARRT certification and BLS required ARRT-CT credential required; state license preferred Experience performing trauma imaging, angiograms (required), and stroke perfusion studies (strongly preferred) Proficiency in biopsy drainage procedures Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience with strong references, or 2 years for first-time travelers Comfortable working with both adult and occasional pediatric cases (outpatients/ED) Ability to work efficiently, averaging up to 40 patients per day Familiarity with Cerner EMR and GE CT systems Willingness to float within various areas of the Radiology department as needed
Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans, including trauma, angiogram, and specialty procedures, for both inpatient and outpatient populations Collaborate closely with radiology staff, including another CT tech and a department assistant on shift Maintain accurate documentation and operate within hospital and imaging protocols Contribute to patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
