Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity awaits experienced CT/PET Technologists ready to contribute expertise in advanced imaging within a leading Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. This contract position offers a dedicated Fri-Sun schedule with three 12-hour shifts, ideal for professionals seeking focused weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT imaging including biopsy drainage, trauma, angiograms, and stroke perfusion studies. Provide imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient populations, occasionally assisting pediatric cases. Operate GE CT equipment efficiently within the main Radiology department and other hospital units as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and clinical guidelines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Qualifications & Required Certifications:
ARRT certification and licensure as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT certification required; state license preferred). Current BLS certification. Minimum of two years' experience in CT imaging with demonstrated skills in specialized procedures such as trauma and angiograms. Ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility by floating to different areas within the Radiology department.
Additional Role Details:
Patient load averages approximately four patients per hour with a 1:1 patient ratio. Orientation includes an 8-hour hospital introduction and 2-3 days shadowing on day shift. Holiday work expectation includes one major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy (not guaranteed off). Voluntary on-call participation.
