Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Healthcare professionals with expertise in CT imaging and PET/CT technology are invited to apply for an engaging opportunity supporting a dynamic radiology department. This contract role is ideal for candidates skilled in a broad range of imaging scenarios, including inpatient, outpatient, adult, and occasional pediatric cases in a fast-paced environment at a large medical facility with 492 beds, a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center.
Schedule and Hours:
Holiday coverage: Expected to work one major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy Weekend rotation varies (typically once a month, may change as needed) On-call coverage is voluntary
Qualifications:
BLS and ARRT certifications (required) ARRT-CT required for CT Technologists; State license is preferred Minimum of 1 year of strong, relevant experience for travelers Open to first-time travelers with at least 2 years of experience in CT/PET technology Proficiency with GE CT systems and Cerner EMR Expertise in CT trauma, angiogram procedures, biopsy drainage, and stroke perfusion (strongly preferred) Experience with both inpatient and outpatient populations, including emergency situations
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT imaging for diverse patient types (adult, inpatient, outpatient; occasional pediatrics) Manage a patient load averaging 4 individuals per hour, ensuring safety and accurate results Float as assigned within the main radiology department, adapting to different imaging needs and team dynamics Complete a thorough facility orientation, including 8-hour hospital overview and 2-3 dayshifts with a designated mentor Take the next step in your imaging career—bring your advanced skills to a collaborative team, working with cutting-edge GE technology while supporting a critical medical center. for immediate consideration and help deliver exceptional diagnostic care to patients in need.
