Key Qualifications:
Current certification or registry in MRI (ARRT-MR or equivalent) Proven experience as an MRI Technologist in a healthcare setting Proficiency with advanced MRI scanners and imaging protocols Strong knowledge of patient safety practices, MRI safety standards, and infection control Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team
Schedule:
Full-time, contract assignment Days and hours may vary depending on department needs
Core Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic-quality images according to physician orders and established protocols Review and confirm patient histories, screen for contraindications, and thoroughly explain procedures to patients Position patients accurately and comfortably for imaging procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety Monitor patients throughout the scanning process and respond to any questions or concerns Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive imaging support Document procedures, maintain accurate records, and adhere to all facility policies and regulatory requirements
