Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital healthcare environment, providing advanced imaging services and diagnostic excellence as a Radiology Technologist/X-ray Technologist. Key Qualifications:
Current registry with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or equivalent. Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist. Proficiency in all standard radiographic procedures, with hands-on experience in imaging and X-ray technology. Understanding of radiation safety practices and infection prevention protocols. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages. Prior hospital or clinical experience as a Radiology Tech or X-ray Tech preferred.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and specialized radiographic examinations as ordered by healthcare providers. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring their safety and comfort. Accurately operate imaging equipment and monitor its functionality, reporting any technical issues as needed. Maintain clear and precise patient records by documenting all procedures and observations. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to facilitate timely and efficient diagnostic services. Adhere to all facility protocols and regulatory requirements, prioritizing patient privacy and care quality at all times.
