Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a critical role as a CT Technologist, providing exceptional imaging services in a major healthcare facility. This contract position is set to begin on June 22, with 12-hour mid-shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, Friday through Sunday (36 hours/week). You'll become a valued member in a high-acuity environment recognized as a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Active ARRT and BLS certifications (ARRT-CT also required) State license strongly preferred Minimum 1 year of imaging experience, with confidence in CT procedures; strong candidates with at least 2 years' experience are welcomed, including first-time travelers Demonstrated skills in biopsy drainage, trauma, angiogram procedures (required), and stroke perfusion imaging (strongly preferred) Comfortable working with adult inpatients/outpatients and occasional pediatric patients Team-oriented, able to work closely with two other CT techs and an assistant per shift Proficiency with GE CT equipment and
Cerner EMR Key Responsibilities:
Perform a range of advanced CT imaging procedures for emergency, trauma, angiogram, and stroke assessment Float as needed within the main Radiology department to support operational needs Maintain 1:1 patient ratios and manage a typical caseload of around 40 exams per day Collaborate closely with radiologists, nursing, and support teams to deliver timely, high-quality imaging Participate in a structured orientation (one 8-hour hospital day, plus 2-3 shadow shifts)
