Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital role providing expert patient care as a Radiology and X-Ray Technologist. You'll be part of a dedicated healthcare environment focused on excellence in diagnostic imaging. Your skill in performing radiologic procedures is essential to delivering quality care and accurate results.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and assist with radiology exams, including X-rays, following physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout Operate radiographic equipment and adjust controls to obtain optimal images for diagnostic interpretation Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of procedures performed Adhere to departmental policies, safety standards, and infection control requirements Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members for effective patient care coordination Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and promptly reporting issues
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as an X-ray or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Applicable state licensure, as required Proficiency with up-to-date imaging software, PACS, and digital radiography systems Demonstrated experience in a clinical imaging environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
