Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced imaging professional specializing in computed tomography (CT). This position offers the chance to care for a diverse patient population, including adult inpatients and outpatients, and occasionally pediatrics. The role is contract-based and starts on June 22, providing valuable experience in a comprehensive healthcare environment.
Schedule & Hours:
12-hour mids, 36 hours per week
Friday, Saturday, Sunday:
10:00 AM - 10:30
PM Key Qualifications:
Current BLS and ARRT certifications required ARRT-CT credential required; state license preferred Solid experience performing CT procedures, including biopsy drainage, trauma, angiogram (required), and stroke perfusion (strongly preferred) Minimum of 1 year's experience in CT for strong candidates; first-time travelers considered with 2+ years' CT experience Willingness to float within the main Radiology department
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality CT imaging for a variety of inpatients and outpatients Manage average daily patient volume (~40 patients/day; average 4 patients/hour) with a 1:1 patient ratio Work collaboratively with another CT tech and an assistant per shift Operate GE equipment and document within Cerner EMR Participate in hospital orientation (one 8-hour session plus 2-3 shifts training with an experienced tech) Adhere to flexible scheduling including potential holiday and weekend rotations (holiday expectations per hospital policy) Maintain professionalism and organization within a Level II Trauma setting,
Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center Additional Perks:
