Your expertise in MRI imaging will contribute directly to accurate diagnoses and improved patient outcomes. Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid and current ARRT (MRI) certification, or equivalent recognized credential Previous experience as an MRI Technologist in a healthcare or hospital setting Proficient in operating MRI machines and related imaging equipment In-depth knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures Strong communication abilities for interacting with patients and clinical staff Detail-oriented, with high standards for image quality and patient care
Schedule:
Flexible shifts available (exact schedule to be discussed during interview) Contract length discussed during interview
Core Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to capture clear, accurate diagnostic images based on physician orders Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process Review images for quality and clarity, coordinating with radiologists as needed Maintain meticulous patient records and imaging documentation in accordance with facility policies Apply contrast agents when specified, monitoring for adverse reactions Adhere to established infection control and equipment sterilization guidelines Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care plans
