In this role, you will utilize advanced imaging technology to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will be a crucial part of our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and enhancing diagnostic accuracy. Opportunity for PT/FT. Responsibilities Provides live x-ray imaging to visualize: Guidewires, Sheaths, Pacemaker leads, Right atrium, Right ventricle (Sometimes) coronary sinus for biventricular devices Confirms proper lead slack and positioning Detects complications such as pneumothorax or lead misplacement Ensure the highest quality of images by maintaining equipment and adhering to safety protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process to alleviate anxiety Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient assessments Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency
Required and Preferred Qualifications Required:
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) State licensure as required Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and safety protocols
Preferred:
Experience in a CathLab setting, particularly in an outpatient environment Mobile C Arm experience and scrub experenice
- Gen changes and pacers Additional certifications in advanced imaging modalities such as MRI or CT Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies Proficiency in operating radiologic imaging equipment Understanding of radiation safety standards and patient care protocols Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance Soft Skills and Cultural Fit Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members Compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring a supportive environment Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently Equal Opportunity Statement ISCA is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
