1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT registration and CA state licensure to perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures on a night shift schedule. Details Radiology - Diagnostic unit Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Scattered shifts throughout Monday-Sunday Performs CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy imaging procedures Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation Uses PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer Requirements ARRT registration as R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) required Current BLS certification required Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required in state of practice, if applicable Advanced CT certification preferred in CA Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment, if applicable Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials, if applicable Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty required Cerner and Epic experience must be noted in employment history if applicable Additional Information Cares for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric age Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information Ensures integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA guidelines Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered Local candidates accepted with no radius rule and local rates matching travel rates First-time travelers may be considered
