Radiologic Technologist at A&M Surgery Center MPH Health - 3.0 Colton, CA Job Details $35 - $38 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Patient comfort Employee relationship building English Clinical data entry Data entry Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) Patient interaction Typing Emergency response procedures ARRT Certification Medical terminology Fluoroscopy License Using fluoroscopy machines Full Job Description Responsibilities Under direct supervision of the Medical Director, Radiologic Technologist will produce diagnostic images utilizing fluoroscopic mobile equipment for pain management procedures. Competently perform fluoroscopic procedures on adults, and geriatric patients. Complete all studies in a timely and efficient manner. Produce fluoroscopic image process as prescribed standards. Duties include patient positioning prior to the procedure; preparation of needed supplies and equipment set up; assist in performing sterile technique procedures as required; follow established quality assurance procedures; maintain patient dignity and confidentiality. Radiologic Technologists need to possess the skills, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of duties assigned to the position; graduate of a Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the American Medical Association or equivalent training, maintaining current

Fluoroscopy Ability to accept and carry out verbal instructions accurately. Skill in performing all daily tasks independently, while working as part of a team, within a demanding environment. Ability to prioritize work, handling multiple tasks to completion, within the time allotted. Skill in reading documents written in standard English, including (but not limited to) requisitions, medical, documents, and policy and procedure manuals technical and operator equipment manual. Knowledge of medical terminology, with ability to distinguish between- types of procedures within the assigned department(s) and medical diagnoses. Ability to be courteous, professional and diplomatic in any given situation, particularly with patients who are anxious and agitated. Ability to be flexible with working hours given in advance notice. Demonstrate consistent professional appearance. Skill in employing independent decision making while performing various job functions. Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations. Understand the requirements of the EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act). Ability to adapt to advancement and changing technology. Ability to show attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness. Ability to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationships with all levels of staff. Basic typing skills to input patients' information.
