Travel Computed Tomography Tech

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Provide critical diagnostic imaging services as a CT Technologist using state-of-the-art computed tomography equipment to capture detailed cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues. This role includes performing a variety of imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images. Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures as needed. Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist review. Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately. Maintain precise records, files, and billing documentation. Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment. Manage inventory of supplies. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care from adolescent to geriatric populations. Adhere to organizational safety and vaccination requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred. Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists [ARRT] certification. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in California. Advanced CT modality certification required in Oregon and Hawaii; preferred in California. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Fluoroscopy license for California if operating fluoroscopy equipment. Venipuncture certification preferred. Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
