Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced RT(Radiology Technologist) to join our medical team for Portable X-ray service. As an X-ray RT, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radiation equipment. Your expertise in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology will play a crucial role in assisting with accurate diagnoses and patient care.

Duties:

• Perform X-ray examinations on patients as prescribed by physicians
• Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images
• Operate X-ray equipment and adjust settings to ensure optimal image quality
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Develop X-ray films and review images for clarity and accuracy
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
• Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment

Experience:

• Proven experience as an RT or in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology procedures
• Familiarity with urgent care settings is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
