The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in radiologic imaging, patient care, and radiation safety procedures, with a commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic services. This role offers the opportunity to expand your expertise through ARRT certification preparation and study materials coverage, supporting your professional growth in advanced imaging modalities. The successful applicant will be instrumental in providing accurate imaging, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with industry standards within a dynamic clinical environment. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures with precision, adhering to established protocols and radiation safety standards. Assist in the cross-training process for CT and MRI imaging techniques, gaining proficiency in these advanced modalities. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining processes, ensuring comfort, and applying aseptic techniques when necessary. Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively, including CT, MRI. Implement radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and oneself during all imaging activities. Support the preparation for ARRT certification exams by engaging with study materials Requirements Certification as an X-Ray Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with current licensure or registration. Demonstrated knowledge of radiologic imaging equipment operation across multiple modalities including CT, MRI, mammography (if applicable), DEXA scans. Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation safety protocols effectively. Proficiency in patient care with excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and compassionately. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles essential for accurate imaging interpretation.

$35.00 - $43.00 per hour
