Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional imaging care supporting patients and their families in a dynamic clinical environment. This contract role requires expertise in Nuclear Medicine, CT technology, and nuclear medicine procedures, with responsibilities focused on high-quality, patient-centered care.
Schedule:
On-Call:
As needed, 45-minute response time required Rotating weekends (every other weekend) Variable weekday shifts: 6:30am-3:00pm, 7:30am-4:00pm, or 8:30am-5:30pm
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience in Imaging—Nuclear Medicine, CT Tech, and Nuclear Med Tech roles Current licensure/certification as required for Nuclear Medicine and CT practice Strong clinical assessment and planning abilities Excellent communication skills for collaboration with pharmacy, providers, and care teams Comfort working independently, managing urgent on-call situations Skill in providing holistic care and addressing unique patient and family needs
Core Responsibilities:
Provide timely and expert clinical imaging services, including nuclear medicine and CT procedures Respond promptly to on-call requests, communicating dose needs efficiently to pharmacy from home and updating ordering providers about anticipated wait times Arrive on site as required for patient dosing, coordinating arrival with dose delivery Deliver care using individualized assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure safe, therapeutic, and effective outcomes Work collaboratively to manage complex or high-risk clinical scenarios, consulting with team members when additional resources are needed Serve as a strong advocate for patients and families, ensuring satisfaction and quality care throughout the imaging experience Promote and maintain clinical excellence and adherence to best practices This unique opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise in both nuclear medicine and CT, make a direct difference in patient care, and work with a supportive, collaborative team.
