Welcome with required experience Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a fast-paced, high-volume imaging department at a Level II Trauma Center. This is an excellent opportunity for a technologist who enjoys working in a busy hospital environment providing care for patients of all ages, from neonates through geriatrics. The department features two state-of-the-art Canon CT scanners (64-slice and 320-slice), dedicated CT Tech Assistants, and a collaborative team environment with a minimum of two CT Technologists scheduled on each shift. Must-Have Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience (3 years preferred) ARRT (R) certification Current BLS certification Experience performing CT exams in: Emergency Department ICU Adult Acute Care Adult Outpatient Pediatric Acute Care Pediatric Outpatient Level II Trauma Center Experience administering contrast media Experience starting peripheral IVs and performing venipuncture Strong knowledge of radiation safety Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and 3D post-processing Preferred Qualifications Venipuncture License Region of Interest (ROI) measurements Experience with CT-guided procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainage procedures, myelography, arthrography, colonography, and coronary CTA Leadership or charge experience Required Clinical Experience Candidates should be comfortable performing CT imaging of: Head and Neck Chest Abdomen and Pelvis Spine Musculoskeletal Trauma Vascular CTA Brain Perfusion Studies Enterography Intravenous Pyelogram (IVP) Equipment & Technology Canon (Toshiba) CT Scanners 64-Slice 320-Slice EPIC Electronic Medical Record Department Highlights Fast-paced, high-volume CT department Approximately 135 CT exams per day Two CT scanners Tech Assistant support available Collaborative interdisciplinary team including: Radiology Pharmacy Respiratory Therapy Physical Therapy Phlebotomy Social Services Lift Team Transportation Rapid Response Team Interpretation Services Patient Population You'll provide imaging services for patients across the lifespan: Neonates Infants Pediatrics Adolescents Adults Geriatrics Vaccination RequirementsCOVID-19
