In this role, you will utilize advanced medical techniques like Varithena, Radiofrequency Ablation, Sclerotherapy and more to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions across multiple specialties. Your expertise will directly impact patient care by performing complex procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Perform minimally invasive procedures such as vascular interventions, embolizations, biopsies, and drainages using advanced medical imaging modalities including ultrasound. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document procedures accurately and efficiently. Conduct pre-procedure assessments, explain procedures thoroughly to patients, and provide post-procedure follow-up care. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, radiation safety standards, HIPAA regulations, and infection control procedures. Engage in clinical research initiatives to advance interventional radiology techniques and contribute to evidence-based practices. Provide consultation services for complex cases involving specialties such as cardiology, oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, and obstetrics. Skills Extensive knowledge of interventional radiology procedures including catheterization, vascular interventional radiography, neurocritical care interventions, and radiation therapy. Proficiency with medical imaging technologies such as CT scans, fluoroscopy equipment, ultrasound devices, and nuclear medicine tools. Experience with EMR systems for documentation and patient management. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to interventional procedures across various specialties including cardiology, oncology, nephrology, pediatrics, and obstetrics. Ability to perform complex technical skills such as suturing, catheterization, IV infusion management, wound care, ostomy care, and airway management. Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes and compliance with HIPAA standards for patient privacy. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively while demonstrating compassion and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
