Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear PET CT Technician to join our team in the Health Care Services industry. As a Nuclear PET CT Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment to produce images of a patient's body for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses. Your role will be critical in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Radiologic Technologist Experience in performing Nuclear PET CT imaging procedures Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology Experience with PET CT imaging procedures Experience with PET CT equipment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
Responsibilities:
Performing diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment to produce images of a patient's body for diagnostic purposes Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitoring their vital signs during the procedure Ensuring the safety of patients and staff by following established radiation safety procedures Maintaining accurate records of patient procedures and results Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses
Skills:
As a Nuclear PET CT Technician, you will use your specialized skills in diagnostic imaging and radiation safety to provide high-quality patient care. You will need to have a strong understanding of nuclear medicine technology and be able to operate specialized equipment with precision. Additionally, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team will be critical to your success in this role.
