1 Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience including trauma and stroke protocol imaging, requiring CA CRT and Fluoro certification. Details CT Tech unit within an adult and pediatric acute care hospital setting Performs CT procedures across ED, ICU, NICU, OR, and outpatient settings Handles trauma cases including stroke protocol studies (CTA Head and Perfusion) 4x10 hour day shifts, 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM Every other weekend rotation required No on-call requirements, though voluntary call-back opportunities are available Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment, O-ARM, and PACS imaging system Epic charting system experience preferred Requirements Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required BLS certification (AHA) required CA CRT license required CA Fluoroscopy Permit required ARRT (R) certification preferred Experience performing CT procedures on trauma patients, including stroke protocol (CTA Head and Perfusion studies) Trauma Level II hospital experience preferred Skilled in infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media License required if applicable Additional Information Performs routine and specialized CT procedures to support diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of injury or disease Works independently with strong clinical judgment to ensure safe, accurate, and timely imaging results Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure cooperation and comfort during procedures First-time travelers will be considered for this position Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at the local rate Returning staff or travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning to this facility Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract Holiday coverage includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Must complete required lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing 7-year work history verification required for all candidates Any background or licensure findings must be disclosed for facility HR approval prior to proceeding
