Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Step into an exciting role as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist, providing essential imaging support within a dynamic healthcare setting. Your expertise will contribute directly to exceptional patient care, supporting physicians throughout IR procedures and ensuring quality diagnostic results. Schedule/Hours:
Contract position Flexible shifts may be available depending on department needs
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist Registered or registry-eligible in Interventional Radiology (IR) required Valid state licensure as applicable Demonstrated experience with angiography, vascular, and nonvascular procedures Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols Proficient in patient assessment, monitoring, and comfort techniques Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients, equipment, and procedure rooms for IR imaging Assist radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Operate advanced imaging equipment, maintaining precision and safety Monitor patients and provide support throughout procedures Maintain accurate imaging records and adhere to patient confidentiality standards Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental policies Maintain a clean, safe working environment by following infection control protocols Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families
