This is a full-time position for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent patient service, and the ability to work collaboratively with providers and staff to ensure efficient clinic operations. Position Summary The X-Ray Technician / Medical Assistant is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures within the scope of their certification, assisting providers with patient care, and supporting front and back office clinical operations as needed. Required Qualifications Current California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician certification Current CPR/BLS certification Minimum one (1) year of experience in a medical office, urgent care, or outpatient clinic preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Essential Duties and Responsibilities X-Ray Duties Perform radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and California regulations Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety procedures Operate and maintain radiology equipment Process and upload images accurately into the electronic medical record system Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards Assist with quality assurance activities related to radiology services Medical Assistant Duties Room patients and obtain vital signs Document patient information accurately in the EMR Assist providers during examinations and procedures Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection as directed Administer injections, medications, and treatments within scope of practice Prepare and stock exam rooms Maintain infection control and clinic safety standards Assist with patient education and follow-up instructions General Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and families Support clinic workflow and daily operations Work collaboratively with providers, clinical staff, and leadership Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Perform other duties as assigned Schedule Full-Time Variable schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed Benefits Benefits available for eligible employees and may include: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Sick Leave Work Location CTOA Medical Group - Murrieta, CA Apply Today If you are a patient-focused professional who enjoys working in a collaborative healthcare environment, we encourage you to apply and become part of our growing team.
