You communicate well, stay calm under pressure, and understand that great veterinary medicine is a team effort. You check in with your coworkers, anticipate what needs to happen next, and take initiative without losing sight of the patient in front of you. And yes, you're probably also the person who finds a few seconds to reassure a nervous dog or make friends with a skeptical cat. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with: At least 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant Experience monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical procedures Knowledge of dental procedures and dental patient care Laboratory experience Radiology/X-ray experience Familiarity with commonly used veterinary medications and pharmaceuticals Strong organizational and communication skills The ability to prioritize and adapt in a busy hospital environment A genuine commitment to compassionate patient and client care RVT licensed? We believe some of the best improvements in a veterinary hospital come directly from the people doing the work every day. If there's an area of veterinary medicine you're passionate about, we want to help you develop it. We support continuing education and professional growth, including opportunities to train that develops new skills or expands the services we can offer our patients. In fact, our rehabilitation therapy services grew from exactly that kind of investment in our team. Our Culture We take our work seriously, but we also want Petsadena to be a place where people enjoy coming to work. We support one another, communicate openly, and recognize that veterinary medicine can be demanding. We want a team that has each other's backs while maintaining high standards for patient care and client service.
