In this vital role, you will operate radiologic imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist physicians in evaluating patient conditions. Your expertise in various imaging modalities, combined with your commitment to patient care and radiation safety, will ensure accurate diagnostics and exceptional patient experiences. Duties Operate a wide range of radiologic imaging equipment including X-ray and fluoroscopy required Perform diagnostic evaluations using imaging modalities to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning. Ensure adherence to radiation safety procedures and implement radiation protection protocols for patients, staff, and yourself. Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient information, and equipment operation logs while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients about procedures, ensure their comfort, and apply aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during invasive procedures. Requirements Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment including X-ray and fluoroscopy units Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles. Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation protection protocols effectively. Ability to perform interventional radiography procedures with precision and attention to detail. Certification for Fluoroscopy preferred; Required Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations.
