1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in California, requiring 2 years of experience and an active CA state license. Details Mammography department within an acute care health system Performs routine and specialized breast imaging procedures 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation as needed Shift hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Requirements Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience Active CA CRT license required if applicable Current BLS certification (AHA) 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates Additional Information Independently performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers Responsible for patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients and their support network May orient other staff to the department as needed Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety Only one holiday RTO request will be approved per contract Former employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
