Call required. Call Shifts are 1730-2230, following a shift 2 nights per week. 13wks, 06/01 start date. The schedule could shift a little if scheduling needs change. Must have CA Fluoro and CA rad, CT, and IV Cert. Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Our facility in Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, our team provides exceptional care in emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and various medical, surgical and outpatient services. Locals enjoy weekly farmers markets in downtown Templeton, farm-to-fork dining, beautiful landscapes for hiking and biking, and beach days just fifteen minutes away at Cambria and Morro Bay.

Job Summary:

Responsible for the operation of x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment. Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least three of the modalities listed on a regular basis.

Education and Work Experience:

Associate's Degree in radiologic technology: Required Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor?s):

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS

OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS

Required Essential Functions:

Performs various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography and/or ultrasound examinations consistent with employee's experience. Performs three modalities competently. Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Tests defibrillator and checks the integrity of crash cart. Performs mobile imaging examinations as necessary. Safely prepares contrast agents for Medical Imaging procedures. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
